Graphics for Existing Websites

Do you have a website, but desperately need new graphics and images? Research has proved that surfers will come back and stay loyal to websites more, if that website makes the effort for it’s surfers. You must always keep your website fresh and up-todate. It lets your customers know that you still care for the business and that you haven’t given up on it. Regular graphic updates also look professional (just take a look at the big names online) and it will give your customers piece of mind, knowing that you plan to stay up to date and care for their opinion.

What should I Update and Keep Updated, on my Website?

To keep your website fresh, you must always consider updating your main header graphic. Obviously keep your logo or any slogans you may have (for brand awareness) but always strive to update any little things around these and you can even integrate promotions or added customer incentives, to your main header graphic.

The most important graphics to regularly update, are all body graphics (all graphics that are below your main header and above your footer graphics). All graphics that promote new products/services on your site (if you don’t have these…you really should) and any other graphics, should always be updated.

A Header Graphic: This is the graphic that will be at the very top of your site. It will contain your company logo or slogan and will often (though not necessarily) be accompanied by ‘About us’, ‘Contact us’ and other links, that sit below it.

A Footer Graphic: This will be a graphic that sites at the very bottom of your sites pages. This will usually (although not necessarily) be accompanied by your copyright notification and business name. Not all website use a footer graphic anymore, as it’s fine to simply have text at the very bottom of your site.
